Opening hours for Bodø Air Show:
- Saturday June 14th 09:00-18:00
- Sunday June 15th 09:00-17:00
Admission fee adults: 200,- NOK per day
Admission fee children and reduced-rate admission fee: 100,- NOK per day
Family discounts (2 adults, 2 children): 400,- NOK per day
There will be free transportation by shuttle bus between the city centre, the Aviation Museum and Bodø Air Show to improve the parking opportunities in the city.
The easiest way to get to Bodø is by air to Bodø Airport.
Alternatively you can take the train with The Norwegian State Railways (Norges Statsbaner), known as NSB.

About Bodø Air Show 08
Our dear airbase plays an invaluable role in the prosperity of the commerce and the local community.
Bodø Airbase is playing an important role for Norway with its big capacities and strategic location. We also accommodate the spearhead of The Norwegian Defence Forces: The F-16 jets, which this year celebrates 25 years in active duty. We wish to mark this occasion with this unforgettable festival June 14th and 15th of this year.
Objective
Our goal is to create the greatest air show ever held in the north of Norway. We expect more than 20.000 visitors during the two day event, and we will try to deliver the best possible experience for both young and old.
The Norwegian Defence Forces, together with private enthusiasts contribute to the show, filling it with national and international aerialists showing off all kinds of airplanes, from veteran airplanes to modern supersonic fighter planes. The purpose of this air show is for our airport, as a valuable institution in Bodø, to give something back to our city.
The Event
The air show is arranged by Avinor Bodø Airport in collaboration with Bodø Main Airbase. Bodø Air Show is a part of Bodø Air and Space Festival (Norwegian site) which is held from Friday 13th till Sunday 15th of June. Possible profits from the air show will go to emergency psychiatric care for children and young people, and to cancer research.
The Speaker Team
To engage the audience, to communicate a correct message about the air show displays and other activities, we have invited professional and well known personalities to do the PA during the air show.
Jan Erik Larssen, from Autofil, will keep the audience energized with his enthusiasm, while pilot Rolf Liland will communicate our message and give the audience good stories and facts.
